Book by one of the pioneers of conceptual art, the British artist Stephen Willats. A story of London, a capture of the 80s after the punk and new-wave wave.
The book follows the stories of three people, named Liz, Paul and Amanda who are a A Civil Servant, A Stockbroker and A Manageress during the day, with their respective doppelgangers who take on punk personalities by night. Each page features photographs by Willats, as well as text by the participants and photographs of the tower blocks in which they live.
A remarkable black and white artist’s book.
